The diversity of our inner city community is reflected in our church community as people from many different ethnic backgrounds worship together. There is a large contingent of international students who are in Brisbane to learn English. In partnership with Intercultural Training Associates (ITA) we provide TESOL training courses for both native English speakers and internationals. Trainees run regular conversational English classes every Saturday during school term from 10:00 – 12:30, with up to 40 international students regularly attending. Many of these attend the Sunday morning services and other church activities. We are currently exploring ways to not only connect with international students but to mentor and disciple them.

We also seek to serve and proclaim the gospel to the global community through the missions we support, both locally and overseas.

To be included in the missions budget a person or mission should meet at least three of these criteria:

• People directly related to or linked to Windsor Road
• Member or committed to Windsor Road for one year or more
• Australian Baptist Mission or Agency
• Windsor Road initiative
• Assists our support of the local community
• Mission type: evangelical, aid/development, social welfare, church assistance
• Commensurate with Windsor Road philosophy and vision
• Windsor Road community can visit or participate in some way
• Unreached people group
• Needy group
• Sustainable mission work
• Mission agency cares and supports staff well
• Has prayer or financial support from members of Windsor Road
