We are a men’s football (soccer) team affiliated with Windsor Road Baptist Church and play in the Baptist Football of Queensland (BFQ) competition. Players do not need to be members of the church to play in the team.
Our first year playing in the BFQ competition as Warriors was in 2013. In 2014 we made it to the finals for the first time. In 2018 we were championship winners in the men’s division 3 competition.
The season runs from March to September. During the off-season, we often have casual football on Saturdays from 3-5pm at a location usually in Kelvin Grove. Everyone is welcome to this, even if you don’t intend to join the team. Formal pre-season training commences in February.
During the season, games always kick-off at either 1pm or 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, and we play at various locations around Brisbane. Please contact the church to be put in touch with someone from the team if you would like to join.
